Privacy Policy

This First Things First Privacy Policy applies to the following First Things First websites: firsthingsfirst.org, qualityfirstaz.com and summit.firstthingsfirst.org​ (FTF Sites). The FTF Sites provide information about First Things First as an organization, FTF’s Board and Regional Partnership Councils, FTF’s programs, and information and resources related to First Things First’s mission of acting as a partner in creating a family-centered, comprehensive, collaborative and high-quality early childhood system that supports the development, health and early education of all Arizona’s children birth through age five.

User Data We Collect

We collect two types of user data when individuals visit and use the FTF Sites: (1) anonymous data that is automatically collected from all visitors to the FTF Sites and (2) personally-identifiable data that users voluntarily submit (described below under “Personal Data”).

Anonymous Data

We automatically collect through our server the date, time and length of the visit; information about the computer used, including the operating system, the browser used, the Internet Protocol address, the language, the network, the country setting, and the mobile device (if applicable); and the referring website. We also track the number and frequency of hits per page on an aggregate basis.

Personal Data

We may collect Personal Data that you voluntarily provide, such as your name and postal address, phone number, e-mail address, and similar information, when you participate in certain activities on the FTF Sites, including (but not limited to) when you sign up to be on our mailing list.

Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

Your Ability to Choose

As an alternative to providing Personal Data through the FTF Sites, you may provide the information by telephone at (602) 771-5100 or (877) 803-7234 or by regular mail or in person at our main office at 4000 N Central, Suite 800 in Phoenix.

How We Use the Data We Collect

We use anonymous data to identify the source of user traffic, but we are not able to use this data to identify individual users. We use data on which sections of the FTF Sites are most visited so that we can evaluate the popularity of our different Web pages and continue to improve the FTF Sites. We do not link any anonymous data with the Personal Data you provide to us.

We use your Personal Data to fulfill the request for which you specifically provided the data, including to send you e-mail newsletters or action alerts if requested.

Third-Party Sharing

We will not share your Personal Data with any third party, except as required by law or otherwise indicated here, unless we first notify you and offer you an appropriate choice to consent to such further use, for example, through an opt-out or opt-in request. If you submit an inquiry, we may share the information you provided with another agency if the inquiry relates to that agency. No other entities or persons collect information through the FTF Sites.

Security

The Personal Data we collect about you is stored on a secure, password protected server. We use industry-standard encryption technologies with respect to the receipt and transfer of Personal Data you submit to us on via the FTF Sites and only authorized personnel have access to your information. Nevertheless, despite our best efforts, no transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.

Subject to Change

This Privacy Policy may be updated or revised from time to time. Any information collected under this current policy will remain bound by the terms of this current policy. After changes take effect, all new information collected, if any, will be subject to the revised policy.
