Don\u2019t hesitate to ask questions and talk about your concerns.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6445\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ftf-stg.magnetry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/Using-Healthcare-1.jpg\" alt=\"Using-Healthcare\" width=\"848\" height=\"485\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Find Health Care<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.azahcccs.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">AHCCCS<\/a>\u00a0is free or low-cost health care. There are many ways to qualify. Your children born in the U.S. may qualify, even if you do not.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/coveraz.org\/connector\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">KidsCare<\/a>\u00a0is Arizona\u2019s health insurance program for low-income working families. To see if you\u2019re eligible and to get help with enrollment, contact\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/coveraz.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cover Arizona<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Community health clinics offer low-cost prenatal care, family planning, vaccines, dental care, mental health care, and testing and treatment for\u00a0many diseases.<\/li>\n<li>Some doctors offer lower fees for people without insurance. See the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.azdhs.gov\/prevention\/health-systems-development\/sliding-fee-schedule\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sliding Fee Schedule Clinics<\/a>\u00a0page on the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.azdhs.gov\/prevention\/health-systems-development\/sliding-fee-schedule\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arizona Department of Health Services<\/a>\u00a0website.<\/li>\n<li>For free or low-cost family planning services, call\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.arizonafamilyhealth.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arizona Family Health Partnership<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>THINGS YOU CAN DO<\/p>\n<h3><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-6444 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ftf-stg.magnetry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/Using-Healthcare-2.jpg\" alt=\"Checkups\" width=\"250\" height=\"281\" \/>Know Your Rights<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>You have a right to choose your doctor and to change doctors.<\/li>\n<li>You have a right to see your medical records and to get copies of them.<\/li>\n<li>If you have a disability, you must be able to get the tests and\u00a0exams you need. For example, you should be able to get a mammogram even if you use a wheelchair.<\/li>\n<li>You have the right to understand your treatment and any forms you are asked to sign. Before you sign a consent form, make sure you know what is being done and why. You can decide not to sign. You can ask about other treatments or you can ask for a second opinion.<\/li>\n<li>If you have a problem getting a service, or your insurance will not pay for it, you can file an appeal. Contact the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/insurance.az.gov\/consumers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arizona Department of Insurance<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>In an Emergency<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>If someone\u2019s life is in danger, call 9-1-1 or go to the nearest hospital emergency room.
