For example, a cat was stuck in a tree and a firefighter saved it<\/li>\n<li>Answers simple questions about a book or story after you read or tell it to him<\/li>\n<li>Keeps a conversation going with more than three back-and-forth exchanges<\/li>\n<li>Uses or recognizes simple rhymes (bat-cat, ball-tall)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0072bc;\">Cognitive (learning, thinking, problem-solving)<\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Counts to 10<\/li>\n<li>Names some numbers between 1 and 5 when you point to them<\/li>\n<li>Uses words about time, like \u201cyesterday,\u201d \u201ctomorrow,\u201d \u201cmorning,\u201d or \u201cnight\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Pays attention for 5 to 10 minutes during activities.
