The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.choosemyplate.gov\/vegetables\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">USDA<\/a>\u00a0suggests that 2- and 3-year-olds eat a cup a day, and 1 \u00bd cups for 4-8-year-olds. With most toddlers and preschoolers, that can feel like a hopeless challenge.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4902 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ftf-stg.magnetry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/Picky.gif\" alt=\"Let's not use the word picky\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Here&#8217;s some hope:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedaily.com\/releases\/2009\/03\/090302120019.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">study<\/a>\u00a0conducted by the Cornell University Food and Brand Lab showed that preschoolers ate more when their vegetables were given fun, catchy names.
